We had a wonderful stay at a newly renovated hotel in Kotohira. The room was stylish and spacious, with a nice kitchen and dining area. The location was perfect, right next to a Lawson and a huge supermarket. We were able to walk to the Kotohira shrine area easily. We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the room was well-organised for our needs. We appreciated the clean and well-appointed facilities of the hotel, including the parking area and communal bath. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, right across from a small shopping area that stayed open late, with easy access to main attractions and close to the train station.
No negatives from this place.

Supermarket near the hotel. The bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable.
Too far away from the city center for a business trip. The hotel is not easy to find.

This hotel is conveniently located next to a supermarket and a small mall that is open late. It is also a short walk from the train station and the Kotohiragu temple. the rooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. the breakfast is good, and there are some nice facilities like an onsen and free bicycles.
Some staff members should be better trained and informed about the services the hotel provides.
